The Labour Relations Department provides labour relations services to member school boards in the capacity of advisor, coordinator, and agent. The Department assists member boards in the maintenance of good employer-employee relationships through the establishment of fair and reasonable salaries, benefits and working conditions. It also produces a number of regular publications, and collects and synthesizes data relevant to its mandate. Much of this material is available on this website.
Collective Bargaining & Governance Workshops
The Labour Relations Department is hosting three Fundamentals of Collective Bargaining workshops in October. These workshops will take participants step-by-step through the collective bargaining process, from start to finish and beyond.
