International Day of Women and Girls in Science

The United Nations have proclaimed February 11 the International Day of Women and Girls in Science aiming to ensure full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls.

International Women's Day (IWD) is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 as a focal point in the women's rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

National Congress on Rural Education in Canada

The Congress is shifting to a one-day symposium format to be held on Sunday, March 26th at the University of Saskatchewan. The theme of this year’s event is “Teaching, Leading and Learning: Lessons from the Field”.
