In-Class Learning Suspended

On March 31, on the advice of the chief provincial health officer, the government announced the indefinite suspension of all classroom learning for K-12 students in the province.

Full details of the closure are included in the government news release. This action has been taken to help flatten the curve and reduce the impact of COVID-19 throughout the province.

Local Voices, Local Choices

local voices, local choices

In 2019, the provincial government launched a review of K-12 education in Manitoba. Learn more about why local voices and local choices matter when it comes to public education in your community by visiting our dedicated webpage. If you value education and your ability to help shape local schools to meet community needs, we encourage you to write provincial government officials, including the Premier of Manitoba, the Minister of Education and Training, and your local MLA voicing your support of local voice, local choice.
