CONVENTION AWARDS UPDATE
The Provincial Executive has made the decision to pause the presentation of the 2022 Student Citizenship Awards. MSBA will be surveying the membership in 2022 to look at new ideas for a refreshed program. Watch for this survey and the return of these popular Awards in 2023! A tradition that will still be an integral part of the 2022 program is the recognition of long-serving trustees and the presentation of the Presidents’ Council Award. BUDGET DISCUSSION TIPS
Budget discussions are about to or have already started. Has your board considered advertising the myschoolboard.ca page through its social media channels in advance of a virtual meeting? MSBA encourages all school boards in this budget season to promote general awareness of opportunities for citizens province-wide to access any such virtual meetings that might be taking place.
