BRRRRR....WINTER IS COMING!!!

Points to Remember

Combustion air mists to rooms with gas/oil appliances (Boilers/water heaters) must never be restricted and chimneys must be clear.

Spaces between and above the fins of any fintube boiler/water heater must be clean.

Rooftop makeup air inlet screens could frost up m winter (bridge with frost). This could cause buildings to have negative air untie exhaust fans naming. These should be checked regularly.

CARBON MONOXIDE MUST NOT BE ALLOWS TO STAY WIIEIIN THE BUILDING!

The question as to whether Carbon Monoxide detectors should be installed or not has come up recently. Although we cannot confirm effectiveness of any such device, we suggest the idea has a lot of merit and we would suggest consideration be given to installing detectors. Type and location of installation should be decided on merits of information obtained from knowledgeable authorizes..
