What We DoBenefit Plans - Pension PlanPension Plan for Non-Teaching Employees of Public School Boards in ManitobaThe Manitoba School Boards Association (formerly MAST) Pension Plan for Non-Teaching Employees of Public School Boards in Manitoba is sponsored by the Manitoba School Boards Association and governed by a Board of Trustees, which includes representation from the Association, the Manitoba Association of School Business Officials, and employee groups. The Pension Plan is a defined contribution plan that originated in 1974. As of December 31, 2009, the Plan counted 8347 active and 1961 deferred members from 34 of Manitoba’s public school boards, and managed assets in excess of $304 million. |
