Provincial Election 2016

Provincial Election Day is April 19

The next Manitoba provincial election will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Public education is largely a provincial responsibility so voter decisions can and do impact the well-being of children in general, and their education in particular. We’ve collected links to each of the major political parties’ websites, their party statements, and media coverage of relevant party announcements.

With the assistance of Manitoba school boards and education partners, we have also compiled a list of questions that anyone can use to initiate a dialogue with candidates about the important education issues that matter most to the children, youth and communities of Manitoba.
